Rates, check-in, cancellations and the house rules are all below. Anything not covered here, ask Beverly directly.
Rates
Prices are in Canadian dollars, based on double occupancy, and rooms start from $229 per night. HST of 15% applies.

Check in
Check in is between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. A later arrival is easy to arrange, just let us know ahead of time.
Check out
Check out is by 10:00 am.
Guarantee
A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
Cancellation
Cancellations are accepted by email only, and you will receive a confirmation back.
Cancel 14 or more days ahead to avoid a penalty. Cancelling 13 to 3 days out is charged one night's rate. Cancelling inside 48 hours is charged the entire reservation.
No-shows
With no prior arrangement and no arrival by 10:00 pm, the reservation counts as a no-show and the full reservation is charged.
Guests
The Coastal Knook welcomes guests ages 12 and over.
Pets
No pets, please.
Smoking
The house is smoke free.
Questions guests ask
When is the Coastal Knook open?
The house is open from May to October and closed from November to April, when the strait ices over. Messages over the winter are welcome and Beverly answers them.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. A full hot breakfast of choice is included every morning, made to order between 7:30 and 10:00. Most dishes can be made gluten-free or dairy-free if you ask in advance.
How do I book a room?
Contact Beverly directly by phone at (902) 215-8084 or by email at info@coastalknook.com for best pricing. A valid credit card guarantees the reservation.
Can children stay?
The Knook welcomes guests ages 12 and over.
Are there pets at the house?
Two friendly dogs live at the Knook and you will meet them in the common areas. Guests' own pets are not able to stay.

Can I have dinner at the Knook?
Dinner is available most nights on advance request, at extra cost, and lobster dinners are always available. During fishing season, ask about lobster excursions too.
